Minibuses and wheelchair access
We
have 8 seater minibuses on fleet at present. They are a Mercedes Vito a
Renault trafic and 2 VW Caravelles. All vehicles are fully fitted with
three point seatbelts for your extra comfort and safety. As with all
vehicles on our fleet, they are fully air-conditioned.
The vehicles were converted by Bernard Mansell Commercials of Northampton and are wheelchair accessible. The Mercedes Vito & VW Caravelles can take up to 2 wheelchairs and the Renault trafic can take 2 wheelchairs and has a real electric wheelchair lift.
The
vehicles have a tracking system for extra security and safety to make
wheelchair users journeys more comfortable.
The tracking system also allows various seat configurations which will allow us to fit in 16 normal size suitcases into each vehicle.
